Wedding DJ Specialist
YOUR WEDDING DJ IS WORTHY EVERY PENNY.
Trust me, DJ services are not a commodity and never will be.
Just have a look at these numbers:

Don't Be A Statistic; Hire A Professional Wedding DJ
And why is this? Because an amateur DJ can make or break both your wedding ceremony and reception. They are more than a DJ. They serve as your Entertainment Director. They must coordinate with the other vendors and direct a proper flow of events.
A professional DJ starts with being on time and with the proper attire. The set up is at least two hours in advance, providing immediate tranquility to the bride and groom. The requested songs for the important dances are ready and pre-tested. A professional DJ also always has backup equipment just in case something happens.

I sometimes have brides-to-be call and state “well, I just have $300 left for the DJ… what can you do?” Or even worse, they ask: “how much do you charge for four hours?”
And guess who they end up hiring. Two words, not us. They eventually find and decide to go with “Mr. $300 Weekend Warrior” I know this because I follow up with these brides afterwards.
Imagine if you left the catering til the end. What do you think you’d get for $300? Probably a lot of disappointed guests thinking you were cheap. It’s a given that you’ll feed all your guests. But guess what else, you are also responsible for ENTERTAINING your guests.
If your $300 Wedding DJ bombs and your guests leave right after dinner, you have no one to blame but yourself. All those months of planning and countless hours of preparing for YOUR now-defunct party were done almost in vain.
Sorry. I know that’s harsh. But it’s true. I’ve seen it in the next room at hotels before many times. Some of those guests have been seen standing in the doorway looking on; just wanting to join in.
Would you hire a $300 wedding photographer? Unless you just don’t care, then probably not.
Most Professional Wedding DJ’s don’t sell by the hour. There is a lot of musical planning and downloading, organizing, meetings, site-checks, equipment preparation, transportation, communication and more that goes on long before you say, “I do”.
But most people only think a wedding DJ just shows up a few hours before and presses “play”. This couldn’t be further from the truth.
Because a wedding is one of the biggest events in our lives, professional wedding DJs have created “Wedding packages”. These packages usually include the traditional Sound and Light systems, and add other services such as ceremony sound systems, room up lighting, monogram design, projector and screen, LCD Monitors and more. These sometimes require a 3-person team: a DJ, an MC (Master of Ceremonies) and 1 crewmember for setting up and tearing down.
All the above items described are setup at least 2-3 hours in advance to cover any last minute inconvenience.
So, my advice: include the Professional Wedding DJ Service in your budget as an utmost important item. If you are planning your wedding more than six months in advance, why not try monthly payment plans. This eases your budget management and gives you peace of mind that you’re hiring a competent Full-Time professional.
And whatever you do, don’t EVER book the cheapest dj out there. Get references. Ask to SEE their equipment. Volunteer even to go to their storage if that’s where it’s at. Don’t risk that kind of embarrassment at your wedding. It only serves for undeserved grief and paints a terrible black eye on my profession.
And whatever you thought about investing in entertainment, most brides agree that they would have HAPPILY DOUBLED what they paid for a more experienced, professional wedding dj to take control of the party and engage their guests.
Remember; enjoy the planning as much as you’re going to enjoy your wedding. After all, it’s the time of your life! And there’s no retake for ONCE IN A LIFETIME.
